Unexpected visitor....

Guess who showed up at our door tonight? Santa...that's right! He stopped by to say hello to the kids...they were so excited...and after he left...they wanted to go to bed really bad so Santa will come and deliver their presents. Making Gingerbread Bears...

The kids made some cookies today...it was probably the first time I've made cookies from scratch...well the gingerbread mix came in a box....but at least I had to mix the ingredients to make them! It's finally over...we enjoyed it but there were a lot of early Saturday mornings!!!!! Thanks to all the help of family and my friend Marianna I survived the season....and my kids made it to their games!

Girls Night Out in Kansas City...Dinner and The Cheetah Girls Concert

Despite the bad weather this past Tuesday...we went to Kansas City to watch "The Cheetah Girls" concert. After a "long drive" (I was driving and I do not like doing when is snowing, I drive very slowly!!!), we made it to Kansas City...we had dinner at Famous Daves and after that we went to the Sprint Center to watch the concert. Emma had her Gymnastics show a week ago...she was really cute as always!!! She really enjoys her gymnastics classes! She got into a class that is by invitation only...we are very excited for her!

Like every year...Joe Bob carved pumpkins with the kids...they could hardly wait until yesterday to do it! They love doing it and I hate cleaning the mess...but the pumpkins turned out really cute!
