2010 Body First School Fitness Challenge

Today the kids ran in this fun event...all the kids in Manhattan from 8th grade and under got to represent their school in this race. The kids were separated by grades... Emma and Chance happened to be in the same age group (Kindergarten-2nd Grade)...that age group could either run a 1/4 mile or a 1/2 mile. I told Chance that he had to run the 1/2 mile since Emma was doing the 1/4 mile. Chance was very excited but didn't realize how far that was (for someone that the only running he has done is playing sports like soccer and football) They did a great job...Emma ran and made it to the end...(barely)

Chance took off running...but didn't realize how much further he had to run...he was fading at the end of the race but made 5th place on his group...so proud of my big dude!

Yesterday was a very special moment for Chance...first, Joe Bob got to see him play for the first time...and he got to play in the same field as his dad did in college! He was VERY excited!

Chance's First Football Game

Chance had his first football game two Saturdays ago...he really liked it! He could be a little more aggressive but I guess that come with time and practice :)

All I have to say is that it's way too cute to watch what all these little kids can do!

First Day of Children's Day Out for the dude...

He was very happy to be there...as we walked in! I sneaked out from the classroom as soon as he found this toy...

I guess he cried on and off...but heard he had a fun time in between, but I know for sure he missed her momma!!! ;)
